What was missing in your survey from my perspective was faces. I'm into faces above all. The expressiveness, the light of the eyes, the two-way communication. THAT'S sexy.

Prettiness is different to sexiness, although they definitely compound. We’re talking about the female form, a face has nothing to do with it. Putting face would ruin the survey, everyone likes a pretty face. Selecting face would just mean you have low drive, and considering you look about 102, it makes sense.

Why does no one else get this?! I want this comment framed at the top of the survey

Sophie, I think you know why they don’t get it

Because not everyone is young , dumb, and perpetually at the mercy of their hormones.

There’s so much that women don’t understand about men.

They get introduced to the lolling tongue of boys and get stuck there, forever after viewing the world through the lens of that biased, immature, experience.

There’s no man who prefers some other body part over the expressions that mark a woman’s face. Not even when she’s sending nudes.

Nudes from a woman you’re dating without her face are so impersonal it might as well be porn.

As they said in High School in 1972, "You don't fuck the face."

I totally agree. A pretty face can make just about anything work.

Sometimes feminists have pretty faces, but feminists need to be avoided at all costs. Unless the man wants to experience the fact that 40-60% of rape accusations are false.

Ricardo Guzman Jr's avatar

Okkkkkk, but what does that have to do with the topic at hand? We're talking preferences, all things being equal.

Frank's avatar

Sophie missed the mark by bringing up this topic. And, the problem is all things are not equal. In case you haven’t seen it, Crystal Magnum just acknowledged that her claim of rape by the Duke lacrosse players was false - 18 years after she made the false accusations. Sophie ignores subjects like that.

Dude… talk about making your entire personality about one issue!

So you don’t like feminists, i get it. Neither do most (normal) men. What else do you have to contribute to the conversation?

Numbers I've seen range from 2-10%, though I think that doesn't include ones that didn't reach the level of an investigation.

More than feminists would like you to believe, but not *that* high.

I have seen estimates of false accusations all over the map. The estimates in the 40-60% range come from Charles McDowell and Eugene Kanin.

The good book cites 3 rapes (Shchem, Gibea, Amnon/Tamar) and one rape attempt (Sdom) vs one false accusation (Mrs Potiphar). One need to acknowledge that in those times false accusations were difficult to file. So ratio could be higher than 1:3.

I didn't say "pretty". I said "expressive" with the light of intelligence in the eyes and something behind the face capable of a good conversation. It all shows in the face.

You didn’t give an option for people who are virgins. That might be an important variable.

Great initiative, the more people make it sound normal to talk about those things, the better. And I think that male sexuality is such an important topic for most men, it might explain a lot about them/us.

I'd just want to reitirate that I would have love some more context/explanations for questions/notions. Like what exactly is a warm/fuzzy personality. And for the how many hours do we read: did you intended to ask us exclusively reading books/for the culture ? Or if I read for my studies, was I supposed to add that as well ?

We are convinced that boobs without butt is privilege, injustice; and that butt without boobs is slavery and brutality. A dismembered body politic cannot stand! The way forward is to follow the midriff.

Unironically, in all seriousness, if it’s the right woman, I like the whole damn thing and that’s that. Spread the love around, no need to neglect anything.

Looking forward to the results. Only complaints are that there's no option for mixed-race, and the reading question is too vague. I answered for only book reading, but don't know if you meant just books or all reading. As a mixed-race individual, I don't feel comfortable in any hard category, and if you ask any mixed race individual (white and black) they'll probably agree.
